Apartments near Praia da Oura and the Strip
Albufeira's east side runs from Praia da Oura, at the bottom of Cardiac Hill, up the Strip to Montechoro: beaches, cafés and the town's nightlife, all within a walk. Our apartments on this side of town are in complexes a short walk from the Strip rather than on it, so you can go out late and still sleep.

Quinta da Barracuda: private, with its own way to the beach
A closed condominium behind electronic gates, on the cliffs between Praia dos Alemães and Praia da Oura. A private gate leads straight down to the sand, and inside there is a large pool and a children's pool, gardens, lifts, and secure parking in the courtyard and underground. Praia dos Aveiros is about 10 minutes along the road, Praia da Oura about 20, and the Strip a short walk up the hill. Mostly one-bedroom apartments, with a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom penthouse.

Parque da Corcovada: near the top of the Strip
A residential complex on the Montechoro side of town, set around a pool and gardens, with a lift, street parking and an Aldi supermarket 400 metres away. Close enough to walk to the Strip, far enough to sleep, and Praia da Oura is about 25 minutes on foot. Two-bedroom apartments, good for a family or friends sharing.

Praia da Oura and the Strip
Praia da Oura is the beach at the bottom of the Strip, with cafés and bars right behind the sand. The last stretch down is known as Cardiac Hill, so save some energy for the climb back. Praia de Santa Eulália, wider and calmer, is a little further east; our page on Albufeira's beaches has the walk to each one.
The Strip itself is Avenida Sá Carneiro, running up from Praia da Oura to Montechoro: a long avenue of bars, clubs, restaurants and shops that comes alive late and stays up later.
The Old Town is 5 to 10 minutes away by Uber or taxi for an evening there instead.
