Escalators at Pau da Bandeira take you from the clifftop down to Fisherman's Beach, and Uber and the local taxis reach anywhere in town in 5 to 10 minutes.
Good to know before you book
- Stairs. Clube do Monaco has no lift, so an upper-floor apartment means a climb with the suitcases.
- Parking. Parking nearby is limited in summer. A municipal car park about 200 metres away sells weekly tickets, and many guests do without a car altogether.
- Evenings. The Old Town is busy with restaurants and bars in the evening, but it keeps a town's character rather than a resort's. For the nightlife of the Strip, it is a short taxi ride.
